Mr & Mrs Iyer

Meenakshi Iyer (Konkona Sen Sharma) and her infant son, embark on a bus journey to return home, after visiting her parents. At the bus station, Meenakshi is introduced to Raja (Rahul Bose), a wild life photographer. He is requested by Meenakshi’s parents to look after her during the bus journey. On the way they are caught in a curfew due to communal riots. To shield Raja’s Muslim identity from a rioting Hindu mob, she tells them, she is Mrs. Iyer and Raja is her husband, Mr. Iyer. The film is an emotional journey of two strangers, who stand by and protect each other.
